helloworld | M-x learning-emacs (Reply)

In a colossally stupid move, I lost all the Python code I wrote during my brief foray into Rosalind. :( Oh well - but I'd like to be able to do them again. I'll do that in between dealing with stuff for HW3, and I will also take this opportunity to teach myself Emacs. Still having trouble figuring out how to act like I'm in IDLE - code in a shall, run in a live environment where I can pass arguments. Only the knowledge that emacs is awesome and will spare me a lot of using the mouse is keeping me motivated.

(Thirty minutes in, and I've already Googled eight error messages.)
